To be fair, would see Riise to Warnock as more of a big gain than Metzelder to Mertesacker. So your defence would be probably better off, not to mention Ballack improving the defensive midfield. Could maybe add in Miguel for Cicinho if that would sway your decision?

Would say Metzelder is consider in the top 30 CBs. Not a hazard for your side at all.

Not sure I can make it VdV. Ronnie has lost a lot of ratings now. He's still got class but it is shown in patches these days rather than all the time.

Fair points. Difficult to judge how things are going at present although Arshavin has more opportunity to gain ratings with the PL season coming up than Ronnie who will be out of sight.

Neymar should always get goals for you really. Looks an amazing talent, just wonder whether he'll make it in Europe or not. He seems a bit of a Balotelli type character.

Not terribly interested in either Jank or Warnock. Jank used to be a top player but is well past his best now. Warnock was struggling to make Villa's starting XI last season which isn't great for the cv. I'd prefer to do the offer as it was, i.e. Mert for Dem + Ramires.
