Ned....just my opinion but I think that for majors both Choppers and Elite guys should have a free pick from all 3 cats.....there is an exemption back into Elite at stake here and tbh if you can't pick from Cat A you are "rubber ducked" here n'est ce pas?

Yes you are... but that's the point! GW brought in the idea of automatic promotion for majors, on the basis that it would be a rare achievement that deserved promotion. If everyone's picking from the same sheet, we'll get loads of choppers winning the majors, and it won't be nearly as impressive an achievement. And more importantly, we'll run out of choppers quite quickly! I'm happy to do the occasional free pick event, but only if they're kept to a few random events.

Aye fair enough Ned but I'm not too sure if you're right that loads of choppers will win majors...they still need to pick right....but at least they will get a gun with 6 bullets in it instead of none.

it's not that hard! There's a couple of events per season I think where the winning chopper does better than the elite winner, it only needs one of those to fall on a major. I think it's good as it is

I support Ned on this one. I like the concept of having to earn promotion to the elite tour, you have to prove yourself first. Promotion and relegation add a lot more interest to the league.
