What do Sale fans think of this?

My view is its a waste of money that would have been better spent else where.
This guy couldn't cut it at Exeter so why would he be any better for Sale.

Not sure why they needed him if I'm honest. Used to be fairly handy but isn't getting any younger and has obviously not impressed that much as he's only got a 1 year deal. Looks like squad cover to me.

Definitely a squad backup player. To be honest at his peak he never exactly set the world on fire did he?

I wonder if his ever been back to Bath?

His rubbish and should have stayed retired. Sale would be better off without the little squirt

A solid player but never rated him when he was at bath.....however can provide premiership experience and good cover across the backline for what i would imagine is a bargian 'last chance saloon' price.

Don't know how sensible it is bringing in characters like higgins and powell into a squad though...especially being that close to the lures of manchester.

Think he was slightly unlucky with injury at Exe - he started pre-season well, picked up a knock and really struggled to make an impression from then on - but he's a gent off the pitch, so I hope it goes well for him at Sale Chief
