The match venues split between North Island and South Island (if I've got my geography right) are:

North: Auckland, Whangarei, Hamilton, Napier, Wellington, Rotorua, Palmerston North, New Plymouth
South: Queenstown, Nelson, Invercargill, Dunedin.

Thanks Pot, looks like fairly similar conditions to back home in Blighty. Maybe a tad colder. Good work fella! RWC 2011 WeatherWatch 732107

I hope these weather predictions are accurate, here in the good RS of A we get the weather pretty much spot on, its just the dates that don't correspond. Very Happy

You should know that weather forecasts in NZ are some of the most inaccurate in the world.

You mean NZ cheat on the weather forecasting as well?

Are there no depths the ABs will stoop to win the RWC?

Sheesh! Smile

Cheating? Well it's world cup time, there's a lot of pressure on the forecasters to get it right. And you know what Kiwis are like at RWC time, under pressure...

What else do you expect?

Dunedin's new forsyth-barr looks like an interesting idea, being enclosed but transparent to fix the grass issue. That's assuming the grass isn't incinerated at high noon on a summers day though.

Added in three matches for the 14th.

The Scotland v Georgia looks like the Scots will feel right at home - freezing temperatures, rain, and winds - in the dark.

Of course, the Georgians mightn't mind that either.

Ireland's game vs USA is looking a little brighter.

But the two superpowers clash of Russia v States looks to be a rain-sodden windy affair.

Presently much the same as this morning. No rain yet. Little windy but nothing much. Good conditions really.

It would have to hit fairly suddenly to make much impact with now 6 hours to go.
