I have just been lent a book called the STRAIN.
It is written by Guillermo DelToro (the guy who made Blade 2, Hellboy and Pans Labyrinth to name a few) and Chuck Logan and is about a vampire plague.
Its part of a trilogy and my friend stated it was a fantastic read. I have read the first chapter and am moderately hooked already - any other people out there aware of it?

Ive never heard of it Hobo, but it sound interesting, the only Vampire Series ive read are the Necroscope books
