Afro I like your team and I think your defence is good for now, maybe bring in a centre back in time but it looks good. But I am not too sure about Gerrard. What I love about your team is Modric, DM, CM, AM and winger real bad man. Now my team:

Agree that my defence still needs work. I think it is solid if not spectacular, but then Rome wasn't built in a day.

Cassani is a top RB and was keeping De Silvestri out of the Fiorentina side. But only on loan, so need to replace him eventually.
Capdevila is still decent and gives an extra attacking option too. Will look to upgrade him eventually, but can live with him for the time being
Gamberini is a good defender, Italian international and only behind Bonucci and Chiellini in the pecking order.
Garay - Argentinian international, still only 24 and constantly improving. Has started the season in immense form for Benfica. Another good player IMO

Overall, I think the defence is sound without including any world beaters. There are better defences in the league, but also there are a lot worse.

Still badmans like Ramsey, Bojan, Boreillo can't make this sickness team. I'm making a strong squad not just a strong 11.
