Mickado Miss Arrested Developement

For those of you who don’t watch the show the title probably doesn’t mean much to you!
But for those that do, I’m sure you’ve heard about the upcoming new mini-series which will lead up to a new movie.
This is just fantastic news, the writing in this show was as good as anything I’ve ever seen and it was just as sparkling the day it finished as when it started and when I heard the news I nearly blue myself!

sorry to hijack this thread but for some reason I youtubed a series I watched in the early 80s from BBC1 the other day - "its you move" tarring a young Patrick Bateman.
Still funny all these years on!
Always fancied arrested development but can never find the first series on sky anywhere.

All 3 series are on Netflix at the moment. You’ve to sign up with a credit card but the first month is free and you can cancel at any time.
I cannot recommend this show highly enough, it’s the bees knees.
Oh, and Patrick Bateman is the guy from American Psycho, think you're thinking of Jason Bateman

As for Netflix, i wouldn't go cancelling sky just yet. At least try it for the first free month and see what you think, i won't be keeping my subscription longer than this month, but will probably renew it when the content improves. Arrested Development is on there at least...

Netflix won't be that great yet. If you want to watch it I will sort you out. I have them on DVD but you could watch it online for free obviously.
Arrested Development is coming back on Netflix in 2013/14 I think. Will sign up then.

So the new seasons been out for a good few weeks, have many people started watching it or have they finished it? Finished it myself last week.
It never reaches the heights it set it self but is still better then your average sitcome and has some very good moments, develops slowly but gets better as it goes on the ending really annoyed me, but it leaves it open to more tv work or a movie if they wanted to do one.

I started to watch it Thomond, but a combination of it not being as good as the original 2 seasons, and even season 3 (which was slightly less good than 1 and 2) and my free netflix trial expiring, meant I only got through 4 episodes.
I thought they were definitely doing a movie though?

It's a slow burner. It reaches the heights of the earlier seasons at times but not often. It's still be tter then most other sitcoms and very good.
The movie isn't definite yet but I believe they are in talks with Netflix to do another season. Will send you a PM for a way to watch it.
