its 7 13am so bare with me, Vettel on Pole yet again button was very close behind and i think Mclaren may have the race pace over RB. Lewis could of very easily been on pole if he didn't muck about on his lap meaning webber and schumacher went past and he didn't make it over the line in time and he was sent out with over 2 minutes to go so he can't blame mclaren. Nico Rosberg had a Hydraulics problem and set no time. Home favorite and has he own stand Kamui Kobayashi went fastest in Q1 Hamilton in Q2

Hamilton robbed of pole...

How? he wrecked two other driver's qualifying by daydreaming!

this backs up my opinion that the qualifying format needs to be altered. time and time again drivers running out of time and backing each other up. its not hamilton's fault its the format, same thing in singapore two weeks ago.

Hamilton made a stupid mistake however I do not think he would have got pole anyways. Supreme lap by Vettel today

if you watch the replay hamilton approaches the last chicane and button is poodling thru it. any driver on the grid would of done the same thing, slow down and let button move away so that your lap would not be impeded and that you could do your lap in clean air. dont let your hatred towards hamilton get in the way of this situation. Webber n schumacher were running out time (there fault) and were basically racing each other to get ova the line. unfortunately hamilton was there trying to get some gap towards button. to blame hamilton for this situation is ludicrous, grow up. as for eddie jordan oh dear!

MOnty not sure how you figured lewis wrecked MSC and WEB's quali - please explain after you read what JOhn has written.

You saw Lewis coming up to the chicane and clear as day button was just going into it Lewis had to back off to creat some space. But MSC and WEB just fly through. If anything they wrecked Lewis' quali.

I do feel lewis could have got pole, but we'll never know for sure. Vettel was only 1/10th faster and lewis felt he had another couple of 10ths left in the car. So maybe he would have snatched pole.

Still he's in a good 3rd position on the clean side of the track. So a good start by him could get him into 2nd or 1st.

Jenson - again a good start could see him get into 1st.

I predict a mclaren 1/2 finish. But ultimately Vettel will get the WDC without a doubt this race

if your going to leave a gap like that with 20 seconds to get over the line their always going to go up the inside regardless and why didn't he just go through the chicane and hope he wasn't too close to button its better to get a lap in then no lap at all

But thats another discussion altogether. Granted Lewis should have been mindful of those behind him. But to say he wrecked other drivers qualifing is absurb. If anyone is a fault are the teams for leaving it so close. Lets pretend the webber/schumacher thing didnt happen. He wold have made it over the line ok.

Who's to say he knew exactly how long was left, maybe his engineer didnt make him aware. But then maybe he did know - we wont know for sure.

It was only Ferrari that managed to get both their drivers out with plenty of time to spare.

Too much emphasis on being the last driver over the line.

A little bit of grid juggling means Schumacher drops to 8th and Kobayashi is up to seventh. Senna is 9th and Petrov 10th
