i don't think we were big favourites, I thought it was 50/50- but then, I've been deliberately avoiding the international section because of people like the OP and the guy he's quoting.

I know where you are coming from, a lot has been said by so called pundits such as Dayglo predicting England and Ireland semi just dismissing the actual winners. ITV should send some of the pundits home as their teams are no longer involved, no chance, even today the commentry could not talk about Australia without saying England beat them last year.

What a shame it is to read a post like this. Wales played the better rugby and were desered winners. I have not read a single comment from any Irish fans saying other wise. There has been no ref bashing, no complaining over decisions just open and honest credit to the Welsh team for a great victory.

If people want to big up their team's chances then fair enough, I said we would smash Samoa, I was utterly wrong. Ireland had every reason to believe so after dispatching Aus and Italy. They are brimming with proven talent.
