V2 WCC Round 1 Group 9

Fridays group 8 saw the undertaker and d.Bryan make the next stages and group 9 kicks off the week today with an interesting group. Please vote for the wrestler you rate the highest and the top two will progress to the next round!

Only really one choice here in my opinion. Orton is excellent in the ring and has seemingly left his attitude problems aside. He can improve, probably by being a little bit more natural on the mic, though he has been given the opportunity to lead Smackdown and has taken it.

In terms of who would be #2, I would go for James Storm. While he isn't at Bobby Roode's level, I think he is someone who could main event for TNA if given the right push. Good in the ring and on the mic.

I voted tactically and went for Richards, I knew Orton would walk the group and Richards deserves the 2nd spot.

I voted Richards, because he's a better 'wrestler' than Randy Orton.

Orton for me, the guy has really stepped it up in the ring lately by adding a few new moves and his match against Ziggler was brilliant, I get the feeling he would be better on the mic if he was allowed to let go a little bit more and his matches with Christian for the title were of a good standard.

I'm not Orton's biggest fan, pretty much the only time I have enjoyed him was his Legacy build up to WM 25. However, I think he is talented, he can put on a good match and with the right story can be interesting.

Has to be Richards for me, while Orton has definatly taken his chances on Smackdown, Richards is arguably the best in the world today (no pun intended), highlights of his 2011 were his double matches with Roderick Strong at Final Battle (which was epic but probably went a bit long) and Hounor Takes Centre Stage which was a classic, his match with Edwards would probably have been match of the year comfertably had it not been for Punk/Cena at MITB

Orton has run away with this group and there is a tie for runner up between Richards and James storm so both will progress to the next stages along with orton
