Portis released by the Redskins

Portis was released by Washington after seven seasons, he played 13 games over the last two seasons due to a concussion and a torn muscle as well as being paid $8.3M this season the Redskins said they could not afford him at that price. Portis was 77 yards short of 10,00 yards

So he was on -67 yards?

Its a pity, but he's too expensive for how long he gets to play these days.

Not necessarily, there's a guy in my 6-a-side league who wears a Broncos Portis jersey. Didn't realise he was a Skin that long though.

I still have my Warren Sapp Bucs Jersey, it's my favourite!

Ive been eyeing up a Chris Cooley one for a while now, might splash out on it

I dare not buy another Skins Jersey - got Bailey and Coles and the next season they were gone. I do have an ST Pro Bowl replica, but that was after he died. Not overly superstitious, and I can't afford to buy another shirt at the moment, but I'm not taking chances.
