V2 WCC Round 1 Group 12

Yesterday saw group 11 winner Joe and runners up Mark Henry and Batista make the next round so please vote for the wrestler you rate the highest and the top two will progress to the next round!

Group 12 sees the much anticipated entry of the iwc's darling and many people's pick to win the whole thing cm punk, how will the second city saint do in this one? White wash anyone?

Can whoever voted for Justin Gabriel please explain how they rate him higher than CM Punk? Because i'm baffled.

If anyone votes for someone other than CM Punk, they need their head examining.

This is going to be a walkover...

The person in second place may well need no more than 2 or 3 votes to get through...

I think for every headline impressive performance, you get a parallel under-the-radar one. And Justin Gabriel has delivered it! Whilst Punk has been dropping Pipe Bombs, Gabriel has been quietly cleaning up the debris.

Alex Riley for me...come on second place

Punk is obviously the clear winner so I went for Eric Young who I think is one of the most criminally underrated and underused guys going.

Which Sin Cara we talking about....Black or Blue?

Not that it matters really. I doubt he, or should I say they, will get a vote!

Went for Cara based on the collective work (prior to WWE) of Hunico and Mistico. Brilliant luchadores

Race for second, I don't care enough about the other 5 although EY is the most entertaining

Surely Gabriels 450 is worth the admission fee alone?

I went for CM Punk as well though there is certainly going to be an interesting race, tortoise paced, for second. Of those I think that Eric Young is really talented when he is not put in ridiculous angles and for the WWE, Justin Gabriel is a good high flyer who can become a sold mid carder in my opinion.

Jeremy Buck is a tag teamer in my opinion, Alex Riley needs to learn how to wrestle and for all that he may have been brilliant in Mexico, Sin Cara has been hugely disappointing in the WWE.

I went with EY, simply put the guy always makes me laugh, especially when he is dropping out of tree's on a golf course onto some no name celebrity, he is entertaining so he gets my vote

oh and Punk didnt seem to need my vote

When? What has he done that stood out, what moves are instantly recognisable to him apart from the 450? What match has he stole the show of made someone look good? Bit of a one trick pony

Total consistency. He's never had a bad Smackdown. He put the exclamation point on every Nexus beatdown. And he's had a brilliant face turn this year.

Has he had a good SD? If so then when? Apart from the 450 no-ones really said what he brings to the table, if the WWE weren't touring South Africa this year he'd still be stuck with Macauly Calkin

What about the great face turn Gaff?

You can't deny that. He was a uber heel at the beginning of the year, now he's a really good face, rising through the ranks on SD!

He has a great (somewhat orgasmic) look, the best finisher in the company & is a he'll of a worker in the ring.... Get the machine behind him & he could be a top face or heel

I don't think he does have the best finisher, yeah it's impressive but it seems to be all he's got, I fail to see what makes him a hell of a worker, what has he done? I can't remember one single match this guys had thats been anything out of the very ordinary, I dont think his face turn was much to write home about either, any examples of moves or matches that might show me what I'm missing?

That's all from group 12 and as predicted cm punks takes a gentle stroll into the next round without even breaking sweat, he bagged a huge 74% of the total vote from 55 votes, he is joined by surprise runner up 5th seed from tna Eric young.

Because it rounds all the percentages down, meaning that that the total when added together is short by a bit.
