What was the point of king of the ring?

The winner of it is to look strong, go on to bigger and better things. Im sorry it is another Sheamus topic but I could almost see a tear in his eye and his brain ticking, what is happening to me as he was being pinned.

He certainly seems to have made an enemy somewhere along the lines.

I don't think he's won a match since he won KOTR.

The only good thing he has done since then is brogue kick swoggle in the rumble!

Has he stopped working out with Triple H or something?

It seems like that Y2D2, because there doesn't seem to be any valid reasons for his burial at the moment.

So much for Sheamus winning the King of the Ring to build up his Wrestlemania match with the Game-uhh.

Unless it's a decision over HHH's head, it shows after a year out he hasn't changed much

 I like the fact that they acknowledged Sheamus as the reason for Triple H's injury, but I had hoped they would merely delay Triple H's revenge until after WM.  Instead, he got full revenge in a very quick manner by destroying Sheamus when he came out after The Game's promo.  The beating was well done, but it further buried Sheamus.  After last week, I was hopeful that WWE was heading somewhere with Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan, but nothing happened on that front this week (time will tell what they do with both guys).  I thought when the GM told Sheamus that he still had a match after taking the Pedigree on the announce table that Bryan would be his opponent to further that angle, but instead it was the returning Evan Bourne.
