Premier Sports
I don't know how many of you own this channel but it truly is the new home of boxing, for the price of £6.99 per month!
Just this month alone we have
6th March: Zab Judah vs Kaizer Mabuza
13th March: Sergio Martinez vs Serhiy Dzinziruk
20th March: Lucian Bute vs Brian Magee
26th March: Dimitry Pirog vs Javier Maciel
If that's not value I don't know what is. For half the price of a uk ppv we get 2 very good fights and 2 great fights!

Any fight with Zab will be exciting. You just dont know what he'll do next. Plus he is super fast and fun to watch.
Pirog is an interesting fighter. Could be the first eastern euro superstar boxer if promoted properly.

Re: Premier Sports
For £7 and your complaining? We have Pirog, who is probably the best behind martinez in the super middleweight division. The zab fight last night was really good yesterday.

He did some very good defensive work and made mabuza miss an awful lot. He got hit with a few body shots but then landed a huge right hand as mabuza came in and pretty much knocked him out standing. Ref gave him an 8 count and then judah just battered him.

Re: Premier Sports
For seven quid a month-and assuming the standard and amount of boxing content is consistent-that doesn't seem too bad at all. After watching Pirog do a number on Jacobs I was quite impressed with him. I got the distinct impression Jacobs had been expecting someone who fights like a stereotypical Eastern European guy, which Pirog most certainly did not. Never heard of him before then, but will keep an eye on him in future.
While none of the four fights mentioned are 'mega-fights', they're all title fights and are involving some decent guys.

Re: Premier Sports
But each mega fight in america you will have to part with $50 around £25 per fight!

Re: Premier Sports
That's what I mean-the four fights this month are still worth a look, and definitely good value for not much more than the cost of a couple of pints.

Re: Premier Sports
Seems a good offer with good level of fighters for not alot,Skys charge of 15 pound! is too much especially for example Haye vs Harrison one decent undercard fight and then for Harrison to only land one punch in the fight a waste of 15 quid.Might consider buying Premier Sports.
Re: Premier Sports
Certainly is considering they were charging £6.99 per PPV not so long ago, which depending on the show was still a bargain.
