Q&A with Sainty - The Answers!

Being a lovely chap, and an approachable member of the moderation team, I thought, following YI’s attempt with the boxing lads, that I’d do a Q&A with you guys, many thanks for the questions.

As is customary with these Q&A’s, I thought I’d give you all a brief profile of myself. I’m currently in my second year of University, studying Tourism Management. I play football, handball and cricket, having had an interest in the latter since 2004/05 time. I tend to listen to most music genres, and am found to often be throwing shapes in some of Lincoln’s finest establishments.

Anyway, lets get on with it!

Have u ever been to Fortress Chelmsford?
I have not, have been to Grace Road and Edgbaston though.

How far east can you go before you're heading west?
Until you fall off the world…

In some books, why do they have blank pages at the very end?
I use these pages as a way of gauging my thoughts and feelings at the piece of literature, for example at the end of Harry Potter, I found myself writing just what I’d do to Ginny Weasley! Hero isn’t the only one who loves him some Red!

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
A lot of wood.

How did you feel when we beat you at the CWC?
Mortified. Blistering knock by Kev O’Brien though!

Why is your username 'Sainty'?
Because I am holier than thou…

What is good about Leicestershire?
Not a lot really… We have a decent shopping centre, Sven lived there briefly, low crime rate and a shed load of dog faeces knocking around…

What are your thoughts on the controversial potato debate?
What’s Lemon done this time?!

Cornflakes or Frosties?
Frosties. Why? Because they’re grrrrrrrreat!

Who is your favourite cricketer?
HD Ackerman, the man was just an excellent batsman and was a great asset for my beloved Foxes. Other than that, it’s got to be a toss up between Tamim Iqbal and James Taylor.

Are you friends with Dick Cheney? If so, I would like his support for us sending ships in the direction of Argentina.
No, but I have Maggy Thatch on speed dial!

Madras hot or Vindaloo hot?
Neither – Not really a spice kind of guy, I’m a big fan of a simple tikka; Although, I am more of a fan of Chinese food.

Favourite poster on the cricket section (not including yourself)?
Oh wow, way to put me on the spot. I have to say I’m a big fan of the Surrey lads, they’re mix of knowledge and dedication is commendable and a great asset to the cricket section.

What's it like moderating the Globe? What's the next step up - is it moderating the Solar System?
I believe so… Hero, YI et al are currently in discussion to make me Universal Moderator…I hear Uranus is a right WUM!

Has Hoggy bowled one over too many?
In my opinion, unfortunately so. Think this may be his last season.

What did you think about the controversial going on's at Grace road, last year, with the chairman, the manager, the players etc..?
It was pathetic, imo. We’re better off for it now though, having won the t20 last year with a harmonious squad and back room!

Did you know that Margaret Sanger coined the term birth control in 1914 in her monthly newsletter The Woman Rebel, which she published as part of a campaign to overturn anti-contraception laws?
No I did not. ..Thanks for that nugget of information though.

No, however, I have rode my bat before! Scored the winning runs in a match last season after seeing YI post it and couldn’t resist. Received a stern telling off from El Capitan though.

What did WUMs do before social media were invented?
I dread to think, some unspeakable act no doubt…

How good is your Sprinkler?
My sprinkler is pretty good! It’s my trademark move on a night out, when I bust that out, you know I mean business (or I’m trying to get a leg over…)

Why does Gregers hate KP?
I think he may feel threatened by him, I hear Mrs. Gregers is quite the KP fan, even going as far asking young Gregers “why can’t you be South African?!”

Why is Eddie Barlow not a Top 10 All Rounder on the 606v2 list?
Lord knows, but it’s a travesty and a disgrace!
