Who were the 11 clubs that met to form the WRU in March 1881? (and not the rumoured 9 in 1880)

Neath is the oldest club in Wales (and also in the world?) so they'd be there, I imagine. For the others, I'lll guess Newport and Cardiff for starters.

Whilst the meeting took place in Neath, they are not one of the 11 listed (suprising I know!).

Cardiff and Newport are correct.

Really? That does surprise me.

Okay, so two in the bag; I'll guess Maesteg, Pontypridd, Swansea and Ebbw Vale, any of them right?

out of that group, Swansea is correct.

Llandovery?

yep they are another one.

Llanelli?

got another one there Breaker.

So we've Newport, Cardiff, Swansea, Llandovery and Llanelli so far. Only another 6 to go!

Pontypool, Maesteg, Risca, Crosskeyes

Pontypool is one, Adam, but the others are not.

righty you guys have got three left to go and will give you a slight hint. They begin with a B, L and Ll.

Lampeter is correct, as is Brecon. LW isn't sorry Lucky.

Just one more to go (and I love that this is the last one to be guessed! )

So this is the Ll one? We've had Llandovery and Llanelli, I can't think of another obvious one.

i only guessed Lampeter as we play rugby against them for uni

The only other Ll one i know is Llandaff having played them on tour for club

It isn't an obvious one Lucky but I will give you another clue.

I know, tis a bit crazy! Rhys Priestland is the international btw who played for them.

That's actually quite a few in the area around me then; Lampeter, Llandovery, Llandeilo and I guess Llanelli at a push - not bad for that small part of Wales!

oooooh now that's a tough one!

37 is my first guess. (I reckon I'm way off, just know that the more recent captains all had a long stint at the job, just don't know how far back they started to be there for a long time!)

oh and I'm asuming you just mean test ones?
