2007 for me, the finish between Undertaker and HBK was fantastic

But I think something massive will happen in 2012.

2000 for me. It was the first one I watched and was just a great Rumble!


The face plant gets a mention for obvious reasons.

Which is the one in which Steve Austin won, eliminating Kane last who had eliminated 11 people himself? I also believe the Hardyz came out at 1 and 3. Thats my fav!

2000 for me the way it set up the whole Mania feud with an MacMahon in each corner and the build up between Rocky and The Big Show was excellent. Obviously they screwed it up in a way that only the WWF (at the time) could but I remember screaming at the TV all the way through that event like I havent for years (until Punk Cena anyway). Plus on the card you had the street fight with Foley and HHH to get in the mood.

Hahaha yeah it was on channel 4. The good old days! The Mae Young incident scarred me for life. I was a 9 year old boy at the time!

I dont even need to think about this, 1992 without a shadow of a doubt, for exactly the reasons Brady has mentioned.

Although Vince tearing his quads in 2005 is a close second.

1992 is unrivaled in my eyes, 2007 was greag too though in modern times

I went with 1992 and I can't possibly add anything else apart from what has already been said by SM, Brady and H.

Seeing Flair come out and Heenan jiz in his pants. Just brilliant.

2001 for me. Highlight being Kane and Undertaker teaming up and clearing house, then Scotty too Hotty comes out and gets battered. Just as JR and the King are trying to figure out how anyone will stop them, the countdown starts.

Cant remember the year (im sure one of you educated chaps will know) but the one when Austin 'had a 'target' on his back (he was going round RAW taking people out one by one before the rumble).

His music hit, and all 20 Wrestlers in the ring stopped and waited for him - he came in the back and eliminated half of them.

Proper marked out as a kid!

1990 for me when Dibiase having previously bought the number 30 spot, came out as number 1.

It was reminiscent of when Punk eliminated the first 7 last year - Dibiase was doing the same 20 years before.

Great Rumble.

2000. Loved the street fight and the IC match which Y2J won. You also had the Tables match between Hardys and Dudleys and the Taz beating Angle.

2007 for me just edges out 1992 because of the Undertaker / Shawn Michaels finishing sequence, it whetted the appetite for what was to come 2 years later.

I think that one was 1998

Wasn't it 99 because Vince Offered a reward to whoever eliminated Austin. But then it was Vince that eliminated him to win it.

2007 for me. The best finish to a Royal Rumble ever. Last four were Orton, Edge, Michaels & Taker. Rated RKO at their best and the finish with Shawn & The Undertaker was absolutely brilliant. Little did we know what would commence at Wrestlemania between the two greats.

I just thought Austin took out loads a guys on RAW before 98s

Stone Cold 'had a target on him' in 1998. He took loads of guys out before the Rumble (2 weeks before? ) then during the Rumble itself his music hit, everyone in the ring stopped to face the ramp then he came through the crowd.

In 1999 Austin started #1 and Vince McMahon came out #2. This was the year that Vince placed a $100,000 bounty on eliminating Austin, but seeing as he threw Stone Cold out himself he kept the money but then awarded it to the Rock for helping him eliminate Austin.

When Kane eliminated that record amount of people, whatever year that was..

Cheers Y2D2. A dart, that was 2001 when he eliminated 11. My 2nd favourite rumble that is. When Austin is sat in the corner all bloodied, then gets a smirk on his face, pulls himself up and whoops ass. Great moment. I'm lucky to have the 1999-2000 and 2001-2002 tagged classics DVDs. Always a great watch.

I love the Royal Rumbles. I need to get them all on DVD!!!

I've got 2 of the Anthology DVD's, 98-02 and 03-07. Hopefully they'll bring out a part 5 after the 2012 rumble for 08-12.
