I thought the same thing, I had to check that the game was at the
Lane! Worms eye view reminded me of the old Highbury angle.

C'mon McLeish, sort it out, we have the players, just need to get them playing football.

We were absolute dross last night, no fight anywhere on the pitch. We set up with negative tactics to nulify Bale which was never going to work, even if Hutton tried. Still, they had Lennon/Modric/VDV to get on the ball instead with no pressure from any Villa players.

Instead of giving Spurs something to worry about with Gabby and Nzog running down each wing we just laid it on a plate. I don't think spurs actually played that well, they just did the job they needed to without getting out of 2nd gear.

I struggle to remember a villa player putting in a tackle. Worst performance I have seen for a while but sadly the tactics were too negative from the onset, not that we should be suprised I guess.

The commentary was AWFUL! Who was the idiot (Danny something?) in the commentary box?? I almost put the match on mute at one point!

Was in the pub, couldnt really hear the commentary, although that was mainly due to my spurs mate not being able to shut up from 7:30 till about 10:00.
