Cardiff vs Edinburgh.
I can't get watch it on TV and as such was hoping some discussion would be held on here so I can see what the match is like, who's performing and well and who isn't. Basically, I dislike the radio pundits so would love some of your opinions.

Re: Cardiff vs Edinburgh.
The Blues havent had possession for 35 minutes
Seriously, the possession must be 95% in Edinburgh favour.
Somehow, Edinburgh are dominating in the forwards and the breakdown, which the Blues creamed them on last week
Edinburgh 19 - 3 Blues
Blues give the ball back to Edinburgh every time through stupid mistakes/kicks.
REALLY FRUSTRATING.

Our first time in the Edinburgh 22...
2 minutes later - an Edinburgh lineout in our 22...I dont even know how that is possible.

Thank God Visser cant catch a ball or we would be being thrashed Leinster style.

Re: Cardiff vs Edinburgh.
Sounds terrible, on the radio it doesn't sound very positive either. Hopefully we can pull it together for the second half, only 10 points or so in it I believe?

Oh sorry, I was mistaken, 16 points.

Re: Cardiff vs Edinburgh.
Edinburgh HAVE to maintain at least a 10 point lead - that way, we won't need to kick every penalty we get, because a try bonus point would be very handy.

Re: Cardiff vs Edinburgh.
16 pts - thats 3 scores - it would mean scoring a converted try every time we touched the ball in the first half.
Tactics at the breakdown are awful this week - Burnell to blame
Defence has been awful aswell, Baber, Burnell and the players to blame.
Not the same side that played in the 2nd half last week.

Are you on BBC Wales, 606?
I can recommend the BBC Scotland commentary - you'll only hear about the Scottish players, but at least it's upbeat!

By the way, I can't get past my Scottish doom complex - I can see this going breasts upward.

Re: Cardiff vs Edinburgh.
If this continues Blues will have well and truly defined themselves over the last two games. Capable of playing ok one week and getting a decent result and then a week later this embarrassment. How many clubs from top ten nations do you see responding this badly when on the back foot? At this rate there's no point coaching them, just supply them with lube to at least ease the discomfort.
You hope a break might present itself next season, always next season and in the end no, the regions find deeper depths to explore. When they're not looking utterly hopeless they're fuelling expectations with signs of promise and then failing to keep it up, they're miserably inconsistent.

Offside penalties are the only way we can gain possession when Edinburgh kick the ball.

They cant keep possession at all without giving away a penalty.

Re: Cardiff vs Edinburgh.
Laulaula passes into touch
I BLAME THE MEDIA
Parks has been trying to use the backs - and has now realised that the are cr*p - knock on after knock on - barely seen Jamie Roberts and Laulaula has been hopeless. While the ball has been kept away from Warburton and B.Davies who were excellent last week.
Parks kicks and suddenly we have a lineout just outside the Edinburgh 22.
KICK MORE DAN!

DAN PARKS MAKES A BREAK!!! - HOLD THE PRESS
It would have been a try too, but Gavin Evans slipped before reaching the line.
Ref goes back for a penalty - Another opportunity missed.
Parks goes for the post - no chance now.

Come on, just one more penalty and we get a BP - considering we have messed up 2 easy tries in the second half.

Puts into perspective how badly the Blues use Roberts. Did Burnell and Baber go temporarily blind during the World Cup to miss how he's best used?

Well that was possibly the worst performance I've seen from the Blues in a long time, they didnt look like they could even be bothered.

Re: Cardiff vs Edinburgh.
Parks kicks the ball out, settles for the LBP
FT 19 - 12
I'll settle for that after the first half performance.
Blues win the head to head
5 - 4
And the head to head result means they stay top of the group on equal points as Edinburgh.
Blues need to win away at LI now, or hope Edinburgh lose away to RM.

You clearly didnt see the 52 - 9 defeat in Leinster - the worst performance I have ever seen
Tonight was merry in comparison
I dont know how we got the BP.

Games like this are what generally engineer the perception that Wales doesn't have the coaching talent to manage its own national side, we need to borrow from other countries instead.
A LBP more than the Blues deserve, pathetic game.

Good result for Edinburgh - LI at home and RM (in disarray) away - ideal

Re: Cardiff vs Edinburgh.
A triumph of technique over power. Body positions, leg drives and astute work in the contact area won that for Edinburgh. Roddy Grant played himself into Scotland contention with that performance.
Cardiff to be honest, lucky to get the LBP. A more in depth analysis tomorrow. Rose street beckons!

Glad to see Edinburgh get the Cardiff monkey off their backs
But disappointed we let Cardiff back into the game. Still a vital win. Onwards and upwards

I think Cardiff are focked. Away to L Irish next. Baring Irish losing tomorrow, it will be a big ask.

Reckon Cardiff & Embra will both take points off RM, so it comes down to how Cardiff go AWAY and Embra go at HOME to Irish

Would really love to see Edinburgh get out of this group.
Been saying I want them to qualify since they beat LI away, Bradley being the coach is an added incentive.

Just to add to that, if Edinburgh do it, in fact even if they dont. I think Bradley has had a huge impact.
