Just a gentle reminder, fellas, that everybody begins his membership at v2 with a clean slate unless his first offerings are clearly meant to incite. I believe that davidemore's contributions thus far have proven that he wishes to discuss boxing with us and not to agitate, and I also believe that his comments and articles should be treated accordingly.
Fresh start, eh?

Re: ..................
Boxing is seen by many to be the sprt of the working class who can fight their way to the riches that await them at world title level. I'm not too sure how much of an impact that the commentators social background has on sky's hiring of them. I believe they have been hired due to their careers. I would much rather listen to someone who has a history of boxing. Their have been boxers that have been wealthy outise of the sport e.g Barrera; but as a whole it is seen as a sport of the working man and subconciously this could effect how the fans take to certain commentators. I personally don't think I'd mind too much what way a person was talking as long as there was substance in what they were saying but I'd prefer to listen to someone I can indentify with if there was a choice of 2 commentators with similair knowledge.
