the mrs loved the other series so i watched the re-runs and she was right they were pretty good apart.

Just a shame the bloke who played spartacus passed away, wonder how the new bloke will be.

Yes Andy Whitfield will be tough to replace but the new guy Liam McIntyre looks good in the trailers ive seen .

i watched the series back to front so seeing crixus as top dog one minute then a wimp the next was strange

Crixus was top dog in the 1st season , then the second series was sort of a prequel to the 1st because of Andys illness . This series Vengeance would of been the second series if he had got ill .

The new guy, Liam McIntyre, is kind of weird as Spartacus at first but you quickly get used to him and he grows into it really well.

AH is that why the actor had changed, I didn't realise he had died. What was it?

I watched the prequel first then watched the first series. Gave a better understanding of thr characters but knew what was coming at the end as they showed it at the start of the second series

Andy Whitfield died of cancer non hodgkin lymphoma he was 39 , you wouldn't of guessed it from his accent but he was welsh .
