Yuvraj Singh diagnosed with lung cancer

From Cricinfo, Yuvraj Singh is currently undergoing chemotherapy in the USA to treat a cancerous tumour in his lung. He is due to finish in treatment in March and expected to be fit to play in May.

It's sad to hear such news about a very good limited overs player, and hopefully he recovers quickly.

Good news is it sounds like they caught it fairly early, if he's expected to be fit to play in the next month or so.

Cricinfo quotes a Dr Chaudhary as saying that it has been detected in Stage 1. Ideally, it should have been Stage 0. Add to this the "non-malignant" tumour discovered last year, and I am afraid somebody botched the diagnosis here.
