Welsh Lineout Empty Welsh Lineout

What a joke. Wales are lucky. Did anyone else notice picking up Justin Tipuric was FAR more effective than Ian Evans trying to jump against Paul O'connell.

If Wales fix the lineout then this tournament will be far easier than the mountain they are currently making it.

Bennett is a average thrower, and Ianto and Bradley are not out and out line out jumpers both are normally the second choice options.#

However with AWJ and Charteris injured we had no choice. In hindsight having the grunt and agression of Brad and Ianto made a big difference on the park.

Same lineout performance since the turn of the century. Don't know if the stats are available but i wouldn't be surprised if we had the worst percentage for clean (as planned) ball of any top 10 team.

Don't know if its the throw, the jumpers, the lifters or the coach but something needs to change or we'll never consistently beat the better teams giving away so much ball.

To be fair that was effectively our second choice second row pairing. Im sure with more practice and the inclusion of Rees it will improve.

Rees will be lucky to get back in...his throwing's no better than Huw Bennett's.

The Welsh Lineout is the only thing I'm not worried about next week when Scotland come to visit!
