Scott Lawson Joins London Irish

Good player, but not a great signing in all honesty. Very good in the loose (but no better than David Paice), and not brilliant in the scrum. Blaney's contrac tis up so I guess he is leaving which means we will have 3 decent options at hooker in Paice, Buckland and Lawson, so good depth, but there are other positions where we are really lacking that I would have preferred to see a new signing in.

So Pete, with Lawson, Ansbro, Shingler () & Samson at the Mad Stad, will you bite the bullet and change your name to London Scottish?!

Pete, also looks like you've got your (relatively) big prop signing, Tongan Halani Aulika: Halani Aulika - ex-Otago and Highlanders

Pete, he is a decent player and his scrummaging has vastly improved in the last 2 years. I'm sorry to see him leave Glaws

HKC, as I said, he is a good player, I just don't see that it was position where we needed a 3rd good player, when we have one or two positions in which we are struggling for 1 decent player to fill the shirt.

Asbo, I think with signing the Tongan we'll probably stick with London South See Islanders!
