Re: Scotland vs France Match thread
Hopefully Scotland will give France a good run and beat them. Would be fantastic if they could as they have promiced so much for many years.

Its always nice to see Scotland beat France. Remember 1995? What a match that was! Good luck to both teams and may the best one win!

If Scotland keep their discipline in order and their handling skills are up to scratch, then i can see them giving France a good run.

Re: Scotland vs France Match thread
Can't wait for this game tomorrow! However, statistics rather than feelings are getting the better of me. Statistically we should not win tomorrow, we should lose, and then lose again in Dublin to set up a wooden spoon decider against Italy, who I believe will be very tough opponents.
Due to the Ireland vs France match being cancelled and Wales winning the triple crown (well done btw!!) I think many may have forgotten the threat of France. For Welsh, Irish and English fans, tomorrow's game might be a good game to watch to establish a better picture of how their respective teams will fair against Les Bleus.
My opinion is that France are the team to beat. However, can Scotland damage France's 6 nations? France probably know that the real test's are up ahead.. but has that distracted them? Are Scotland just an annoyance who must be put in their place? Or do they think we could pose a threat?
I am expecting a bold effort from Scotland tomorrow. The fans are expecting it, AR is expecting it, and most importantly, the players themselves are expecting it. There is only so many times good chances can be ruined. They may not win, but I think all the silly errors, the lack of composure in a winning position and the squandered opportunities must be really beginning to get under the players skin. I can only speculate as to how the players are feeling tonight. However, this is the first time a France match has been sold out since the stadiums redevelopment. As a player, that must surely be hard to ignore...

I'm really hoping that the Scottish go out there and go hard, I'd love to see them produce what I think they're very close to producing.
Some exciting young players without the experience of playing France will hopefully not gave a fear 'factor'.
On the other hand, France are bloody good!!

A couple of chinese pandas were moved to Edinburgh zoo in the hope they'll shag and give baby bears. Apparently the female panda is only up for it 12 hours once a year! No pressure Mr Panda...
Awh Tommy's tries!!!

Re: Scotland vs France Match thread
Gaby Logan got well on my nerves yesterday when she kept refeering to Ferris' tackle as a Tip Tackle. Thats just poor in my opinion.
Inverdale just gets a little over excited at hearing his own voice.
The worst for me has to be Andrew Cotter, he seriously has no clue about the game.
People slate Brian Moore but he calls it from a fans point of view and is actually quite funny.

Perhaps he meant "You can't help screwing them and leaving them sore even though you don't mean to..."?

Agreed about Andrew Cotter, he is terrible, not only that he also spread his garbage on to Golf and Tennis.

How come Scotland have to play in white? Why can't France wear their white kit?

Feck too much slow ball from Scotland, they need to commit numbers to these rucks! They had the same problem against England!

Turn over, very poor contact skills from Scotland. France will soak this up all day.

Too late....possession lost.
See what I mean about Murrayfield's DJ being a bit enthusiastic. What's the point of playing the Proclaimers when Scotland have lost possession???
