Skill of the round
My call:
Rougerie's one handed quarterback style offload, whilst on his back on the floor.
Do you agree?

Unsolicited but..... here goes. Rob Kearney flipped end over end pass to Ferris for Bowes try.

Vernon's draw and give in the second try or Hogg's second half break perhaps TJ. Hogg just ran quickly in a straight line for his try (although he did it very well granted)

Re: Skill of the round
Maybe, just maybe as an ouside bet, the welsh centre ripping the ball from a 2nd row 60 yards out, chipping it over the oncoming defence, then racing 50 yards to win the ball and touch down with 5 minutes left - Just an outside bet for piece of skill

Didn't see the game at Twix but Fofana's try was smashing. Some line he took.
That was a quality game, I really enjoy watching Scotland. They'd frustrate the crap out of me if I was Scottish but they're really good to watch. They had some really nice offloads in the tackle that wrong footed the French, hop Ireland can give them similar problems.

Re: Skill of the round
Sextons pass to Bowe for his second try was tasty, needed to be inch perfect or it was an intercept and it just about was.
Scotland vs France was full of great offloading, and while not a ball skill Wesley Fofanas lines of running were wonderful to watch. That boy can pick an angle.

Brilliant stuff from Williams. A magical try in any game, never mind the winning score in a massive test match.

Scotsman scoring a try - that shows a bit of skill that has been rare in recent years. he didn't knock on, drop the ball, put a foot in touch or anything else.

Re: Skill of the round
I quite liked Mike Phillips' sneaky little back pass to North off of Wales' first line out.
Added to that Strettle's tap tackle (curse it!) I guess was a nice bit of skill, even if it was a last ditch desperate effort.

Seeing Stuart Hogg come through is very exciting. Always fantastic when a young lad makes the step up to test level and everything seems to be going right for him.
Seeing him stand up guys like Jamie Roberts and Thierry Dusatoir and leave them clutching at air- just wonderful to see, absolutely wonderful.

Scott Williams for me, Welsh bias aside, I thought it was the best piece of skill all weekend, and given the context it was a vital score as well.

I'll go for Warburtons tackle on Tuilagi and Strettle's tap tackle on North.
Fantastic stuff.

Skill of the round? Easy.
Me dropping and then catching my beer before it hit the floor when Wales scored that try. One of those slo motion drops. None of the other stuff listed here remotely compares.

Strettle's tap was literally fingertip stuff and he was flat out. The context of both tackles make them all the better.

Re: Skill of the round
My candidates:
Scott Williams' brilliant individual match-winning try.
Malzieu being edged towards the touchline only to power straight through a Scottish defender to give the crucial offload to Medard. Should never have been on.
Lee Jones' try through the hands from a steal on halfway.
Fofana's take over his head for France's first score (ironically Hogg's was the only try that didn't require that much skill).

Re: Skill of the round
The best display of skill I personally saw, was myself having a whiskey in one hand, typing comments on the laptop whilst using the remote with my left big toe to rewind and slow mo replay important moments of the matches.
The dexterity required for all of that is incredible.

Seen a fairly good rolly-poly from Lamont (I think) just after Medards length of the pitch break.

Scott Williams...
Strength of an Ox
Pace of a Whippet
Guile of a Fox
Composure of a "Farell"
Nice dive at the end too - brought a tear to Ashton's eye.

But it was a nice, understated dive, proportionate to the context and the skill employed to that point, don't you think?

I think me making it home that night after the state I was in took some of skill. I still have no idea how I managed it. I just hope I can replicate the same form next time.

It was a great bit of skill but I think you're over selling the amount of defence. There was only Youngs scrabbling back (big attacking line outside him weren't reacting) and round as a defensive option and not full back cover what so ever. Brilliant vision and quick thinking though.
Strettle's tap tackle was awesome as was the Warburton text book job on Manu. They should send it as a dvd to young players entitled "how to tackle", low, hard and at knee height. Not, as Priestland found out, at chest height (SIT DOWN).
Dan Cole deserves a mention for successfully slowing down such a high proportion of Welsh ball.

There were 3 England players tracking back I thought? Add to that Croft sprinting back to cover from where he was on the wing (why is he always out there?!), and he very nearly almost got Scott too.

Sam, the cameraman had enough time to spot it and zoom in on his hand, yet Walsh was oblivious.
