It was an occupation, T. They used to go around door to door selling rabbits in the back streets Redfern, things must have been tough back then, right?

Me too , theres all this hype about the new Batman film The Dark Knight Rises but give me Adam West and Burt Ward anyday . Do like the old Batman tv show ?

Maybe I should just answer your original question? I know that impending feeling of doubt but I'm trying to think of it going against the grain and they pull off a stunning performance. Am I being too optimistic now?

FA Cup final saturday 17.15 here then Chelseaagain tuesday night in the league . I dont think Liverpool will be that bothered about tuesday league game do you ?

No. Funny for an Aussie to say (we don't have the 'playing for the draw' or 'this game is unimportant for us' approach.) It's always a win.

If they blast them away in the Cup Final do you think they will want to rub it in again on Tuesday? Or if they lose, won't they want to have another crack... even though it means little?

I think the cup final is everything , the league game is secondary i can see a whole different team playing tuesday 11 changes .

Oh, I see. If they win... then they'll get a rest. Mad Monday, etc.

To me they are not a bad side but always have a lapse after doing something good. Some losses have been close and maybe they've been unlucky in a few games losing from a winning position... but others they just seem to capitulate and not turn up.

Except when they play Manly. Are you with me?

(I don't belong to the Parra is our biggest rivals thing. Brisbane, Warriors, Melbourne, even Newcastle, Easts (Syd Roosters), Souths and Dragons is just as big or bigger rivalry.)

I think the team will change win or lose in the Cup final , the league has gone 2 games left and we aren't going to get any higher so i think the squad players may get a chance .

Yes, they need to purchase some 'star' material or have some young rising star develop from their feeder ranks. It's a pity because the team on paper showed some promise at the start of the year didn't it?

Can Parramatta replace Hindmarsh ?

Don't know a lot about leeague but Hindmarsh was a great player wasn't he? It will defintely be difficuly but no one is irreplaceable are they? (excluding Andy Carroll obviously....)

He has been the heartbeat of the club for so long it will be hard to get someone in who will have the same impact .

When big Andy heads in the winning goal for Liverpool today he will be irreplaceable wont he ?

As a person who doesn't "love" Liverpool, I hope he stays on I don't think he deserves to stay to be honest, he has wasted money on overpriced talent, primarily English and he hasn't really improved the side. I don't know who would replace him though. Any likely candidates?

Im not sure i think as a club we could attract a top class manager but i would like to say who that would be , the owners could have a very different out look then me ( i would go like a British manager ive always thought for years that Martin O'Neil was the right man for the job) , but why not Harry Redknapp?

No offence but wouldn't going from Tottenham to Liverpool be a step down? Don't see why Redknapp would do that.

I dont think so no , Spurs have done brilliantley dont get me wrong but and this is not a blinkered look i dont think that they are as big a club as Liverpool . I think once Liverpool get things right that they will be back up there , it may need a new manager who knows ?

Yes there is to much deadwood , we paid over the odds for English players ( i do think Henderson at 22 years old will be a good buy ) it was thought bringing Kenny back might be the spark unfortunatley with everything that has gone on this season that hasn't happened to the extent we would of liked . In a way i feel sorry for Kenny , everyone wanted him he wanted to do all he could to help but it hasn't clicked into place yet .

I hope im right but Fenway the owners seem to be a sports minded business who are willing to invest in the teams they own over a period of years so hopefully we are on a solid foundations now .We have the biggest shirt deal in the league the biggest sponsership deal in the league .

Performances on the pitch need to improve thats for sure though .

Anyway what else is going on ?

Not much, most of the sports I play are finishing up But there's the GAA and Cork Cityto look forward to. There's rarely a break in Irish sport! Also my sister doesn't have a brain tumour. Bank Holiday weekend here so might head out to the family house in West Cork and hit a few balls on the beach. My Uncle's over from the US so we're having a get together on Monday.
