How many Gold / overall medals do you hope for realistically?

im hoping we get into the thirtys anything above that would be a bonus imo

Overall? and around 16-20 Gold maybe.

Oz will be lucky to get 8-10 (if that) and around 25-30 overall the way things are going.

yes 30 + overall , and anymore them 10 golds

Might have to adjust ours down... to about 6 Gold, 20 overall.

I'm off to listen to the games on the radio... I like to keep up with it all.

Radio is better the tv sometimes , lets you imagine your there

I really prefer the TV or being there live myself

Being there live is always best , my brother in law went down yesterday for a couple of days on a freebie from work , he was at the rowing

Sailing is a weird one to watch but if the weather's nice then it's OK to have a few boats passing by as you muck around on the beach.

Knowing my brother in law and his bosses it would of been watched from the beer tent !

Yeah, drinking and boats don't mix. I nearly found out the hard way many years ago. Much safer on land.

I have a very good knack of falling out of boats. Not very handy when you cant swim

I gave up sailing when we capsized out near the Heads in mid-winter when racing and the captain told me to remain in the water. Bloody thing had taken on water and we couldn't upright it for about 15 mins. After almost getting hypothermia I decided to quit.

I actually like sailing but am just horrible and fall off boats constantly

I don't know how to 'react' to that... but I think I might be the same.

I have realised that having Helicopter crashes can be quite profitable. Must do it more often

Did you get compo for it? You deserve millions for your act of survival. Seriously. Still can't believe it happened to you.
Is the pilot OK? Did he cop it worse?

We have all been offered a settlement and its very acceptable

There is now only one person left in Hospital but he should be released within a month. He was the pilot and took the most of the hit.

There has been an inquiry and been kept largely out of the papers. the helicopter was German and had been grounded in Germany for some reason. The owner of the helicopter company has high contacts and being that it was for Shell, things have been hushed.

Bloody hell , thats sounds really bad that they can hush something like that up

We need to tread carefully on here then. Any holidays planned?

The major shareholders of Shell are the Dutch Royal family and it would not be seen as very good if their company hired in a grounded flight for Dutch employees... Very dodgy allround which is why we have been offered a huge settlement.

Cover ups in the petrochemical industry are not that uncommon, you only ever hear about 10% of the oil and gas leaks that occur
