Bears In September

Hi Guys looking for some help,

Going to watch the bears in September, flights, hotel and game tickets sorted. This has been my plan for my 40th birthday for about 20 years so really excited . So anyone got any advice on what to do and see whilst there?? I've seen what the tourist websites say, but looking for some insider knowledge, good bars, something worth seeing doing etc. Any help truly appreciated

Never been to Chicago, but I would imagine the Cubs could still be playing baseball, so good chance of game. But there's the Skydeck Chicago, tallest building in the Western hemisphere. All of these should be good restaurants since they have been featured on TV.

until last week i believe, i think the NY Freedom Tower has just passed it...(still worth a visit though i'm sure)

Won't be heading over to Swansea, not this time anyway, like the place though, it's not a hole like Newport (never been there but I'm told!)
They film the Batman films in Chicago for the most part, if I remember rightly, if you did some Google searches you might find some interesting spots that were filmed if you're into that kind of thing.

I know Chicago has a funky mirrored "bean" thing in one of its main squares which looked quite cool as a piece of modern street art... Called "Cloud Gate" officially.
