Any news/updates on Wasps, LW (and consequently the Falcons)?

Why don't the Wasps fans go for a buy-out?

I doubt anything will be said on London Welsh until after the final. Partly because that way they might not have to make a decision. And also because if Welsh can't go up it'll take a lot of the point out of it.

Haven't heard anything about Wasps

I wonder what would be the Home Office reaction to an immigration application form which was filled in incompletely (and notably with a lack of qualifying data)?

I thought the results were coming out before the final to clear up any issues.
Think it was on the sky article on LW

How much are Wasps in the red. Its fine spending a £1 to buy a club in debt but if it isn't back in the top half can it really turn things around

The favoured consortium to buy Wasps are going through due diligence atm.

In 6 to 9 months time once the Home Office got around to processing the paperwork they'd kick you out.

No joke, I have several friends who are well past the end date of their visas (to the point where their employers are getting nervous about paying them in case they're audited), their renewal applications are in, and they can't travel because UKBA has their passports, and can't keep up with the workload, compounded by the failure of the biometric ID card computer system.

It's not relegation issue Kiwi Wink . It's a promotion matter.

Laugh

I'm applying for "promotion" of my immigration status in December. Hopefully by then UKBA will have reached a state approaching competance.

This is a Cameron-led government Kiwi.

The UKBA will have been hived off to a Greek consortium by November. In another ministerial blunder. mo1 (that's Teresa May by the way).

But don't worry the airports will all be snowed in by then. And even if they're not there will be no cleaners on-duty and available to check your exit visa.
