How Soon Is Now?
Top 5 fights (realistic fights) that we cannot wait for!
1. Froch vs Kessler. A pure war classic this one, no diggity no doubt. Oh mumma.
2. Ward vs Dawson. Not for the look, the look be uuuuuugly when these two touch gloves. But props to Dawson for taking the challenge, and these two are genuinly talented.
3. Rigo vs Donaire. Oh man, the little guys could really burst into the mainstream if they get it on. Two exceptional talents.
4. Cotto vs Canelo. That is a real pick 'em fight for me, and Cotto would make Canelo show us what he's got.
5. Martinez vs Lara. I know Lara is about as wanted as a box of kittens by a river, but man, that would be a banger of a fight.
Picks:
1. Froch KO. Kessler is almost done i think.
2. Ward UD. It be ugly alright, but it be close and engaging.
3. Rigo KO. Can't nobody stop him in my opinion.
4. Cotto UD. He has the moves, like a kinky teen on a dancefloor.
5. Martinez SD. just, oh just, but he would take it, maybe after a knee too.
Thoughts?

I would rather see Cotto v Martinez and Canelo v Lara with the winners (Martinez and Canelo) facing each other.
I would also love to see Lara v Kirkland because the Cuban would make Kirkland look ridiculous.

I don't think Cotto has the frame to carry MW properly. Martinez can easily make LMW so he should come down to face these guys. Lara would beat them all with something to spare.

He's improved since then by miles.

So did I paperbag, always a nice touch. One other fight I am hoping gets made is Quigg vs Frampton. No gimme that Quigg gets past Monroe but do love a domestic match up and this has the makings of a belter

Frampton is fighting Kiko Martinez later this year. So it doesn't look like it will happen this year.

I could never have come up with such an epic title. Long live The Smiths! What a tune.
