Meh, was always going to happen. Did a decent job at Pompey and Forest given my bank account has more money in than the 2 combined. Took over 2 sinking ships and kept them afloat

Knows the club after his spell here and plays attractive football I guess. Likely to work with Steve Coppell in a DoF role again. Not a coincidence we played a lot better after he came in as a coach.

We had a big name last year, that failed horribly, I'm satisfied. Much rather this than Glenn Hoddle.

I thought when cotterill went that this would pave the way for a supposed 'big name' manager to come in. I think Sean O'Driscoll is a decent manager who should be able to do well there

Mick McCarthy or Neil Warnock were the targets I think.

Hoddle was more likely to be DoF than manager.

All he has to do is sign Guedioura and Elokobi and he'll be a fan favorite

Given we have like 2 defenders under contract, I'm interested to see how SOD and the new DoF rebuild.

I could easily see Kyle McFadzean leaving us for Forest.

It works well. Well it did at Prem level for us

My in-laws are all Donny fans and he did very very well with them. I wouldn't be surprised if he went to Rovers and tried to bring Brian Stock and Jamie Coppinger back into the Championship. Stock, I believe, is married to his daughter (so i've heard anyway, may not be true).

He plays football the 'right way' in any case.
