Unlikely Wrestling Gimmicks

Similar the Mock the Week segment "scenes we'd like to see" I thought I would create a thread where we can come up with unlikely wrestling gimmicks. Please keep them clean, I know certain members (Mr H and, to be fair, myself) could think of gimmicks that are not appropriate for this site.


I will start with Ahmed the friendly foreigner.


Ahmed is of Indian heritage. He is friendly and gets big cheers from the fans, he is not a comedy performer o
in the way Santino is, he is a fully fledged main eventer.

Victor 'The Vet' Vaughan.

He'd be a twisted heel who comes out to cut a promo with a different animal each week. He'd bring out a cat, tell everyone its very sick and that he's tried everything to make it better, then he'd punt it into the crowd and says he hates animals.

Then Dave 'The Animal' Batista, Road Warrior Animal, and George The Animal Steele will all fued with Victor Vaughan.

Ricky The Dragon Steamboat would then return and tell Victor Vaughan he's not an animal because a Dragon is a mythical legend. Steamboat would then beat Vaughan, who'd then flounder in micard kicking hamsters and rabbits into the crowd each week.

The Gobbeldy Gooker.

A guy dressed up as a giant comic turkey who makes his debut by hatching out of a giant.....

...Wait...

Patty 'the peado' Player

Patty could entice a whole new list of dwarfs with candy and hold the WWE ransom until Cena hands over the title in exchange for some dwarfs

Doubt that'll last long tbf

Hacksaw druggan

The all American hero fallen from grace develops a crystal meth addiction. Kept in solitary and only unleashed to fend off the boogie man as quite frankly he things monsters are always chasing him.

The Mortal Hulk Hogan

Hulk comes back and gets killed on his debut

A 500lb monster that literally has squash matches, sometimes 2 oppenents at a time and after defeating them shouts "feed me more" before devouring the flattened wrestlers

Huggy Bear - the only move he knows is to bear hug them until they submit or die. Then after the bell rings, gets out his bag of weed, smokes it and has a disco party in the ring.

The Thundertaker


A man who's only intention is to ruin people's moments. Whether it means coming out and just sitting in the ring while someone is celebrating a big.title win, it doesn't matter. He will do what it take to steal peoples thunder.

any gimmick involving a large bus an american hero and a fat guy is a ratings winner for me

big buses = money

they should do a campervan challange match that would be awesome

American Pig

He's everything that’s great about America. He's very overweight with the king of all mullets and is as thick as pig s**t. He believes that God is his best friend and that Jesus is still a baby and carries the bible with him everywhere he goes.

His gimmick is he will only challenges non-americans and will get beat in less than minute every match.
