I personally think HBK vs HHH should be number 1.

Bret Hart vs. Undertaker @ Summerslam 1997 is my personal favourite on that list.

I was such a Hart mark as a kid and the build up going into that match was superb with Bret threatening to never wrestle again in the US should he lose.

The ending of the match was pretty awesome as well, with Shawn caving in Takers head with the chair.

Can't complain with most of these matches but there are a few I thought are unlucky to miss out.

Those matches for me are a lot better than some of the ones on the list. Looks like WWE was not willing to credit any superstar who now works for TNA.

CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy is a great shout that was a class match.

Another great shout is Orton vs. Christian last year for the WHC, good story telling from both guys and a pretty brutal match up as well ( for the PG era anyway )

Re Summerslam 1997, was that the Austin vs. Owen match where Austin got dumped on his head from an inverted piledriver and broke his neck?
If so the ending to that match was awful, they should have just stopped it, I think Owen was working the crowd and Austin just rolled him up for the win.
Should have stopped it as I say and then have Austin get his revenge and take the IC title on his return.

I think the top 5 is decent with perhaps HBK vs Razor from 95 unlucky not to make it in there...

Bret vs Owen is certainly the best pure wrestling cage match ever

Michaels vs Triple H what a performance from Shawn after 4 1/2 years out, it looked like he'd never missed a step. How could anyone leave there job & comeback years later & on there 1st day back arguable perform better than they ever did?

Hart vs Mr Perfect would have been 1 if Henning was suffering a career threatening back injury....

The pop at the end of Bulldog Hart was insane. Absolute classic story telling between both men although Hart in the roll of heel completely controlled the match

I'm guessing from this list WWE.com considers Bret Hart the greatest Summerslam wrestler of all time?
