Anyone designed their own shoes and had them made with this facility?

If so how long did it take in reality?

Did it about a month ago. Ordered on a Saturday, they said about 3 weeks, got a call 2 and a half weeks later.

Super - did it last year and similar to Smithers took between 2 and 3 weeks - well happy with them.

Just think super, you could get one shoe customised all orange in honour of your favourite norn irish marching heros, and then get the other customised all orange in honour of your golfing hero rickie fowler

Why would you design your own shoe when the manufacturer - who employs talented designers to do it - who makes the shoe offers the service for free anyway?

Mac, it is free, the shoe costs no more than the current RRP. All you are doing is choosing the model you want and changing the colours, I'm just after a couple of pairs of Dryjoys, one black/white and one white/black.

All I ever see in the shops is Black or White.

Why don't you get it done. You could get "The Guardian" written on one shoe and "The Socialist Worker" on the other.

It's free, you can mock them up in front of your eyes and you can make some truely hideous boots that clash perfectly with the bright yellow golf balls you use.

THink the effect must be similar to the first coloured footy boots when they came out "white boots, he must be good."

"Ah, tangerine, lime and purple stripey FJ's - he must be good"

maybe we should have a design a shoe competition for s_r!

In my case, my feet are different sizes and so using this service allowed me to get the right size for each foot rather than making do with the larger size for both.

Is it against the rules to have different size feet?
