Ben Franks is now a Hurricane

Wow, great signing for us but worrying for the Blues and JK. Truly though, last season we must have fielded the greenest group of props ever in Super Rugby but those guys got better and better, they're all young and should be around for the Hurricanes for a long time, with the addition of Franks we're all of a sudden looking like semi finalists...if I may be so bold to say that of course!

You know when you look at the Hurricanes through the history of the Super competition we have had some top players. Even in the proping department we have been adequate over the years (at times).
But lock! we have really struggled.
Now if we could get a decent couple of locks we could be a force.

I think Ross Filipo will add something to the team next season if he picks up a contract (apart from age, I can’t see any reason why not), are there any up and comers in the NPC?
