I agree, Xavi is well ahead. But aged 32, his value is on the way down. He's only worth his TM value in this game, and he's injured for you for four weeks. So you need to either sell him on or keep an injured player for 4 weeks. If you released him, you'd get the cash to sign someone else, Martinez is the same TM value and can cover DM and CB equally well.

Rami is not a RB either.
Puyol is more experienced there.

It's a million miles apart for me sorry, whilst Xavi is still an excellent player Id be wanting to at least make my money back on Iniesta in TM value.

I really do think thats the best we both will find.

Navas has been awful this year.
I would happily take them out of the deal but feel youd be losing out then tbh and as you say only improving your bench

No deal, Martinez is vital to my team as a DM or a CB in my small squad, plus I prefer him to Khedira.
