606v2's official British top 10 rankings

Following up from All time Greats thread about 606v2 P4P rankings I thought I would set up my own British 10 rankings.

Rules:
Only 1 post per 606 member.
Only current fighters allowed.
Outlandish listing’s will be DQ (so please keep your listings sensible)

Principles:
Your top 10 should be based as at the current point in time.

Point Scoring System:
Quite simple, #1 scores 10 points, #2 scores 9 points etc… I will tally up the totals by the deadline date and will present the results (using my Excel wizardry).

NOTE: PLEASE TRY AND USE THE FULL CORRECT SPELLING. ALSO, KEEP DEBATE TO A MINIMUM FOR NOW.

Its basically the same rules and results will be collected in by this Sunday

Glad Burns is top 5. Thought a few might have left him out because he isn't actually that good. You could make a case to say he is the worst out of Scotlands 12 world champions. But as a Scotsman I'm well chuffed.

Everytime I see Burns I just think he's average made one brilliant peformance against Martinez picking himself up from the canvas but since then has faced two bums and hasn't really impressed much.

He's had his big night and I think we have seen the best of him. Maybe he can produce it again but it's going to need to be forced out of him. I've been to a lot of Burns fights and tbh I couldn't believe he became a world champion.

Similar to most people's really, I'd lump most of the bottom 7 together. I think Brook and in particular Degale are the standouts from the bottom and will be mixing it in the top 5 this time next year.

I know! You sometimes have this impression that the US is full of boxing stars, but you really would be quite hard pushed to get a solid top 10. There would be a bit of an issue deciding on whether or not all the Mexican-Americans count. In fact, a top ten Mexican list would be good to do - I can't be effed doing the sums though!

That still leaves Judah, Rios, Pavlik, Peterson, Bundage, Williams, Dirrell, Mosely, Dawson, Trout, Holt, etc. By my count thats 10 reigning world champions in total.

Its not at a high point, but not a bad old list. The best crop of fighters may not always be from the US, there are always swings and round abouts.
