THE 2011 WWE® DRAFT TAKES OVER MONDAY NIGHT RAW,
MONDAY, APRIL 25 AT 9/8c

The entire roster of WWE Superstars and Divas will take part in the 2011 WWE Draft next week, April 25, on MONDAY NIGHT RAW live on USA Network at 9/8c.

In a thrilling night of television, all WWE Superstars and Divas, including WWE Champion The Miz, John Cena, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio and SinCara along with WWE Divas Champion Brie Bella, Eve and Kelly Kelly could be drafted to either RAW or SmackDown.

After Monday Night’s momentous draft, John Cena could be on “Friday Night Smackdown,”
which airs each week on Syfy at 8/7c and Rey Mysterio could be coming to MONDAY NIGHT RAW.

The Annual WWE Draft is a chance to renew old rivalries or have WWE Superstars face off against each other for the very first time, bringing a new and fresh feel to each show.

They need to get the big up and comers onto RAW.

how do they decide who's on what brand everyone seems to be appearing on each show anyway atm

There's definately a vacancy at the top of the Smackdown Roster for a babyface following Edges retirement.... Hope it's Morrison but I guess he's gonna get buried for his conduct with Trish

It's gotta be someone like Christian or a returning Jericho.

i think randy should get drafted and turned heel and then y2j returns as face after randy punt him and there we have a feud

obviously very nervous and being on smackdown if he botches they can re-tape it so ud never know.

Is there really any need for the draft though? Throughout this year, various superstars have been making regular cameo performances on their opposite brands. We've had feuds between people from opposite brands (Del Rio and Truth most notably). Hopefully the draft will put a stop to this and interbrand matches can be saved for pay per views.

We can only hope!

I think Cena to SD, that allows HHH to go back to RAW as a wrestler and then orchestrate the Cena turn on SD!

The Corre has run its course now, Barrett is established and he deserves a push on his own.

Laycool move to Raw & fued with Kong

Y2J return and move to Smackdown and continue where Edge left off.

Probably, if it's his last run, he's running backstage now, so what better way to input his ideas than having a hand in both shows.

Regardless of peoples views, he's been at the top for 10 years now and if they are looking for the next stars then who better to groom them?

Yeah i agree with you 100% but the Schedule is pretty heavy, was just interested in what you though of him being able to handle it but thinking about it i should of realised that he has been doing it for years so.

Y2J wont come back unless DWTS finishes.

Can't see Laycool feuding with Kong, McCool won't wanna be cannon fodder and realistically, Kong would snap them both in half. Beth and Natalya should be the ones to take Kong on. Barrett will hopefully go RAW and learn from HHH.

Justin Gabriel or Wade Barrett will likely move to Raw there was obviously some tension last week when Gabriel threw Barett over the top rope in the battle royal.Smackdown need more main even superstars Punk or Orton maybe?

Possibly although i doubt it. Firstly it's far too predictable and i genuinely think HHH believes he has one more good run in him before a potential career decider against Taker. It would also mean someone like Barrett playing second fiddle again, with Batista mark 2. Barrett, for me, is in a sink or swim situation, he's pretty much got one shot at making himself a main eventer before a lifetime of mid card obscurity.

R-Truth is obviously going to move to Smackdown now due to being dropped from the wwe title match

Smackdown needs a top face to take Edge's place. Christian is an obvious candidate, Jericho would be once DWTS finishes and the other one at the moment is probably Randy Orton - it might do him good to get out of John Cena's shadow for a while.

Totally agree that Barrett needs to split from the Corre (urgh!). Have them split, Big Zeke turn face then after a couple of months feuding take the IC title from Wade. Barrett can then move on to an opportunity for bigger and better things.

Just had a thought, what about a Sheamus face turn and move to Smackdown? A feud between him and ADR over the title would be pretty good. "Look dere Mister Del Rio, if dat's yer real name. Yer all about da money, but Oi'm about kicking people's arses!" Or something like that.

I new they'd have a draft this year, Orton needs a change bigtime doubt they'll do that tho, I'd swap Sheamus too, Del Rio for me would go to Raw and Miz to SD

Has anyone considered Taker going to RAW?

If its his last year or two, it makes sense they'll put him back on the flagship show for big exposure, and new major new rivalrys.

Sin Cara could be hotshot straight for a title HHH thinks highly of him apparently and pushed to get him signed under his new recruitment drive.

Laycool could be split up, how many are normally drafted isn't it 10 for a live show, and a further 15 in the supplimental.

I was convinced that a draft wasn't happening this year (waves fist in direction of the dirt sheets).
I wonder if Edge retiring forced their hand to either have one or at least move it forward.

I hope Sheamus goes to SD, he's wasted on Raw now. Maybe Orton to move too.

But why have a draft the week before a PPV? Surely it makes sense for it to be the first Raw after Extreme Rules?

That's the isht right there.

Reason for the a draft before extreme rules(they did it a few years ago with night of champions when it was in may)

Is that the matches carry the option of the title being moved over by the winner. If Miz goes to SD, Cena or JoMo need to bring the title back to RAW, and visa versa. Same for Smackdown.

I think Punk and Barrett won't be moved just yet since they switched only a few months back.

They may not be too many moves next week though, maybe 15 at max which is small by WWEs standards.

Not just TNA though KB, if TATSU was Smackdown's #1 babyface then that'd put every single TV show out of business.

Then Jeff Hardy stumbles through the crowd, dressed only in a scarf and wellies, gets in the ring after 5 attempts and a helping hand from security, grabs a microphone, sings the opening line to 'Raggy Dolls', tries braiding the Miz's hair, screams at a bleeding Ric Flair "YOUR FACE IS MELTING!", falls over, kicks out of a pin attempt even though no-one is pinning him, tries to 'tame' Clarence Mason who he thinks is a wild honey badger before stamping on the mat 3 times and 'vanishing'. The 'vanishing' consists of him falling out of the ring and trying to get under it, but he ends up upside down between the ring floor and the ring apron. Matt Hardy then comes out, eating a camel and tells everyone that Jeff doesn't have a problem.

Joe delivering a musclebuster to Pope through a pig was one of the strangest things I've seen in years.

Its usually a 3 hour but there was no mention of it, hope its a 2hour though

Regarding next Monday's 2011 WWE Draft, changes are not expected to go into effect until May 2, the night after Extreme Rules.

That happened in 2008 when most of the title matches where pretty obvious

Edge had to make a shoddy appearance the next night on RAW so Batista could destroy him and Punk could cash in the MitB

Don't understand why they don't just make the draft the night after ER
