9/25 @Cleveland
10/2 @ San Diego
10/9 BYE
10/17 @ N.Y. Jets
10/23 Denver
10/30 @N.Y. Giants
11/6 @Kansas City
11/13 Washington
11/20 Buffalo
11/24 @ Dallas
12/4 Oakland
12/11 Philadelphia
12/18 @Buffalo
12/24 @ New England
1/1 N.Y. Jets

Open with a home game on Monday night to the Pats and finish at home to the Jets. Pretty easy schedule for us then what with us being such a dominant force at home last season. Superbowl here we come!

After last season I'd be happy with that. We really need to get it together at home this year and depending on our QB, this season could really be up in the air for us. If Henne starts then we have to hope our new coaches do a better job with him than last year when he got worse with every game.
If we can bring in a good offensive lineman and a running back that should take the pressure of Henne and we can start to move forwards again.

yer i think a lot depends on the qb. i think VY would be a really good fit in miami, but with your current roster you do despite a lot of hard games id expect you to beat the bills (2), houston, cleveland, denver, washington, oakland and maybe pick up a couple of suprise results elsewhere

Yeah I'd expect us to win those games as well and we can normally take a win or 2 off of the Jets and maybe a sneak one against the Pats.

As for the QB I hear we are looking to draft a rookie and Palmer is at the top of our list for the free agency, assuming he leaves the Bengals. I'd be happy with Palmer coming to us. He'd push Henne for a starting place and my friend is a Bengals fan and I could rub his face in it as I believe he is in love with Palmer.

You won't get Palmer for free, unless you're waiting until 2014.

I can't see it happening either to tell the truth but stranger things have happened.

I think Henne will be our starter next season.

I just don't see Mike Brown backing down, I think he is more than happy to let Palmer retire, he didn't back down when Ochocinco was demanding to be traded. IF for some reason Mike Brown does back down then he won't just release him and would probably demand a lot to trade him. If anyone is likely to be backing down I would say it would be Palmer but I'm not even sure how likely that is as he said he's not playing for money, he can live more than happily if he retires.

Also you won't beat the Browns Smile

If we start the season the way we finished the last one we'll not beat anybody.

Ino Some People Would Think I Am Gonna Be An Idiot For Saying This But I Reckon We Will Go 10-6 And Miss Out On The Playoffs By 1 Game, Last Season Henne Made A Lot Of Errors Due To His Ability At The Time But We Have A New QB Coach For Him, A Better Offensive Co-Ordinator And Tbh Our O-Line Would Be Better, Last Season He Was Basically Playing With No O-Line We Had So Many Changes It Was Hard For Anyone To Be Transisitioned Into A Place They Weren't Familiar With. Also Brown Will Re-Sign And With Gates As A Speedy Reciever It Would Open The Field For Bess And Marshall

I'd love to agree with you, but I'm not sure of whether Henne has either the confidence or the ability. Last year's play-calling was far too conservative for the Dolphins and this allowed opponents to stack 8 in the box to stuff the run.

Sure, your o-line is slightly better, but it's not a huge improvement and yuo don't even know whether Pouncey and Co are going to work out yet.

Something else going against you, you're in a very tough division. The Patriots and Jets are both very strong and the Bills may surprise many next season.

I don't see how you're getting 10 wins, obviously we're just speculating on the strength of the teams but I can see you going 7-9 or 8-8.

Easy schedule ?
Sorry mate, I've got you down for a 7-9 season.
I wouldn't be running away with the idea that the Browns, Raiders, Cowboys and Broncos will be walkovers, I make that a seriously tough schedule....

But Last Year Though There Was So Much Chopping And Changing In The O-Line There Was Like No Cohesion Between Any Of The Players.
Last Year Though Most Of Our Games Henne Was Always Under Pressure From The Defence And If He Had Like A Second Or 2 More Time He Would Of Done Better,
Only Problem With Him He Can't Get Us Past The Red Zone He Always Stutters And Doesn't Know What 2 Do But Hopefully That Will Change This Season.
Lol And Thank You Smile
I Never Said Easy Schedule Smile, And Nope Im Not Using A Mobile I Just Like To Put Caps For The Start Of Each Letter I Do Get Called Weird But Oh Well Very Happy

I think 7-9 is being a bit ambitious if I'm being honest...

I can't see you beating the Pats or Jets at all and I really don't feel that Henne has it in him. Let's not forget that this lockout means that he can't work with his new o-line, and the line can't work with each other.

'If He Had Like A Second Or 2 More Time He Would Of Done Better,'

I think the same can be said of every QB who's ever taken the field.
Think how bad the Packers line was at the start of last year and how Rodgers adapted his game and how good that guy became.
I think Henne is an OK QB, nothing more nothing less.
And the 'easy schedule' comment was aimed at the OP who said this in his original article.
Fins need the Pats and Jets to implode to make post season IMO

I'm predicting the Dolphins win these:
Texans (depending on amount of time they have and who they bring in to fix the secondary), @Chargers (like to start slow), Broncos (if Tebow starts), Redskins, Bills, Raiders (if they loose Huff and Asomugha), @Bills. These opinions will change as the season progresses and depensing on how FA works out for teams, and who teams trade for.

What does everyone else think?

i think thely be there or there abouts with the playoffs, probably just miss out. they have a preety goood defence and that o-lines certain to improve with pouncey in.

I think henne will have a better season to, i heard some wierd stat the other day about him on an espn podcast. Apparently with the bad throws he made he had the highest pick percentage rate where someone like tebow got lucky the bad throws he made.
Maybe next year with a bit more time in the pocket he could get better, but i doubt it. If i was the dolphins id definetly be looking at Orton
