Are you looking for games or just useful apps and utilities?

Obviously there are the obvious socialising ones such as Facebook, Twitter etc.

There is an app for BBC 606, but I doubt that’ll be much use in a month or two’s time! Hopefully we could get one for v2 in the future. Wink

You’ll probably be interested in some news apps as well. I would recommend Sky News, Eurosport and PW Torch. Sky News is better than BBC News in my opinion, as it is much better set out and easier to navigate – the content is pretty much the same. Eurosport is really the only good sports news app and PW Torch is great for news and insider information about all the top wrestling federations.

I f you have Sky+ there are a couple of apps you can use to link it up to your phone – Sky Mobile TV and Sky+.

The other ones you might find useful are Wikipedia, Shazam (Song recognition), iBooks and AA Breakdown.

Then I would suggest just browsing the app store for a while, as there may be an app you require, but I might not have mentioned. You can probably get an app for your bank, but obviously I cant recommend which one!

Ping chat is great too if you have other friends with the app. It's basically texting for free.

Some more useful ones:

-- Days until
-- Measures - Unit and Curreny converter
-- The Trainline
-- Shopping list
-- RAC Traffic
-- Battery HD

*Some of the above may be paid apps, but you can get most of them in free versions as well*
