Luke Fitz to retire

Head from a reliable source in Leinster branch that Luke may be forced to retire after his neck injury failed to heal... the injury list goes on

I hope this isn't true would be a terrible shame. Fitzy is such a talented player just never plays more then a handful of games before getting injured!

Nah couldn't be true , sure he is stepping up his training with Leinster.

Irish Times a couple of weeks ago said "Luke Fitzgerald is due to return from a neck injury in late November and Seán O’Brien could also be available at that time" ??

True indeed , it was during training he did it in again though. It is genuinely true he ran into some trouble with it again over past few days, time will tell as to whether he retires or not

It's not unlikely, but I hope the OP is incorrect and Fitzy comes back. Osprey's Ben Lewis was forced to retire through a neck injury last year, and he's only 26 though.
