Cook dosnt have it in him to captain. Bopara proved vs SL he cant hack it at this level.

For the limited overs teams, Cook and Bairstow drop out for Kieswetter and whoever is the pick of the month spinner in the CC.

I agree with CF,brilliant player but doesn't have temperament at the moment.If he improves on that then yes but the signs so far have been he throws his toys out the pram and would leave England with a bad name.

Cook will be a quality captain I think, as long as it does not affect his game.

Fast bowlers shouldn't be captains.

Look at guys like Wasim, Waqar and Shaun Pollock. Captaincy was a hinderance.

Last thing you want is Broad to be thinking of field placements and bowling changes whilst he's bowling
