I swear this player was suppose to be joining you?
The luxury of playing under Steve Evans must of tempted him from moving to Crawley
The luxury of still being able to live up North tempted him from moving to Crawley. He said it himself last week. Rotherham just happen to be a northern club.

Sounds like Crawley did play well tbf to them, i didn't go in the end as i went to the pub with my mates for my mate's last night before he goes away for year! But a freind who did go to the game, said Crawley actually looked better in the 2nd half against a stronger Brighton team, first half was all Brighton and that was actually quite a youthful Albion side.
Think Crawley could do with a few more signings before the season starts, and keeping players like Simpson, McFadzen and Clarke fit is a must throughout the season.

Crawley Town v Crystal Palace today.
Both sides strong, both sides made loads of changes throughout.
"Crowd today is 3109 including 1735 Palace" - More than 50% of the crowd were Palace. And about 700 more than Brighton took to Broadfield
But who cares about fanbases.
Crawley Town 3-0 Crystal Palace

Well deserved equalizer from Crawley
Well taken by Billy Clarke.
Both sides will be up there at the end of the season, anything less than top spot should really be failure for Wolves.

Never a penalty. But I'm over it, after a sustained bout of Facebook and Twitter wumming. Including blocking Nick on Twitter

Crawley were robbed, they deserved at least a point. Nicky Adams was superb and was probably the best player on the pitch.
Got a few bites of Crawley fans on twitter though

Re: The unofficial "No-one cares about Crawley Town" thread
You know we didn't. Although we were fortunate to be 2-0 up, Newport were much better than us. And we can even pinpoint the red card and penalty that made it 2-2 as the turning point. The best we played was after Richie "Sort it aaht" Barker made three substitutions at 2-3 and 10 v 11. Should have equalised!
If you get a chance, you need to see Mike Jones' halfway line goal. Class. Shame he and the rest of the side didn't perform to that level throughout.

Simon Wormull scored a much better goal for Lewes last season from about 4 yards back from that! Also the keeper was closer to his line!

Yes, but this was against a Football League goalkeeper. Goals for Lewes don't count. Even if done by former Crawley Town managers.NickisBHAFC wrote:Simon Wormull scored a much better goal for Lewes last season from about 4 yards back from that! Also the keeper was closer to his line!

8 unbeaten in the league followed by 3 straight defeats.
Not time to panic, at the same time Bristol City away on Tuesday is massive, seeing as they're not in any kind of form, we should be looking at going there to win although i'd take a draw.

Bristol City is a decent away game, close to there fans, ground is old fashioned. Good atmosphere it generates. Some decent pubs around the area as well.

Where's ya Barker gone?
Where's ya Barker gone?
Huge loss for Crawley IMO. Great young manager, cracking bloke.
Not sure the reason for the sacking? Surly it cant' be on the run of form? Must be to do with him being strong favorite to take the Portsmouth job.
Not sure who will take over as Crawley boss, i imagine Coppell?
