He has actually had a pretty good last couple of months to be fair to him, so his real life form is starting to move closer to his pretend league ratings

Yeah he's bang on form currently, same actually with Evra and Rafael, we all mock them but both have been a lot better form wise currently.

If you're including Hummels and Subotic, surely you should include Badstuber too. First half of the year helped Bayern Munich make the Champions League final, looked pretty equal to Hummels for most of Euro 2012, and has been part of the Bayern side running away with the Bundesliga this season.

Sakho - not had his finest 12 months, but still a good player
Badstuber - not a fan. He is too error prone. Dante has been the man for them this season, rather than Badstuber

That was the team they selected as opposed to my own thoughts.

I'd go for De Gea in goal. Isco over Silva.

I think I agree with all of Marky's team, other than I would have Juanfran over Azpilicueta.

You can't have Isco over Silva really. Silva gets into their team with Barca and Real players included.

Yeah, Silva over Isco sadly. Maybe next season that's reversed, but Silva still has that spark that separates the man from the boy.

The thing with Silva is that expectation is high. Even when he is off form, he is still better than most, it's just that you expect more.

When on form, he is up there with the likes of Fabregas, Iniesta etc

Surely there's a case for Michu as well to have some place in the team?

I read Del Bosque might be giving him a call-up in the near future.

When on form Silva is better than Cesc, but then again so is Mata. I would never put Silva in the same bracket as Iniesta though.

Agree on Mata.

We are talking about when playing at their best. The reason Iniesta is that much of a better player, is that he does it game after game, every season. He always plays at that level.

Those photos are not exactly 'bust-up' though, to me it looks like Mancini has a go at Balotelli, who gets confrontational, Mancini grabs him, then it's separated. Not exactly Hartson-Berkovic stuff
