You would think my allegiance would be with England because there are a few Saffers there.

But meh, not true.


But this year my heart is with Scotland.

By that reasoning I guess I should be supporting Wales as well as England...

As the time to kick off gets shorter it get increasingly difficult for me to separate Head from Heart.
Heart England for the Slam! Head a week ago - France for the Slam or at least the Championship, but as we get closer - England for the Slam!!

Biltong - There's only one Saffa in the England line up this weekend, maybe that's why you're not rooting for them so much. Looks like Ireland may be your future NH team ;-)

Heart - England or Ireland Championship (I'm more conflicted than you can imagine when they play). Don't like Grand Slams unless there's a really outstanding side that has properly deserved it (So Wales 2005 and to a lesser extent, 2008, but not Wales 2012, for example).

Head - No Slam, and wouldn't totally surprise me if we saw five teams with three wins apiece this year. Italy booked for the Spoon, otherwise home advantage is critical. Slight suspicion that England or France may be most capable of racking up the all-important points differential).

England to beat Scotland, Wales, France and Italy but lose to Ireland.
France to beat Italy, Wales, Scotland and Ireland but lose to England.

Scotland to beat Italy but lose to everyone else.
Italy to get the Wooden Spoon.

You could have let them down easy and stopped after position 1.

My head says that Wales should be in the bottom two, and probably only get one or two wins against Scotland and Italy, however if we were to be whitewashed I would not be too suprised.

My heart says that Wales are not the heap of poop that they were made out to be in the Summer and Autumn, and that we are more than capable of winning against Ireland and England at the MS, beating both Italy and Scotland on the road, and pushing the French all the way to the final whistle in Paris. Meaning we will have a minimum of a triple crown, and a grand slam is possible.

We're third fav now, I'm feeling all emotional now, thanks SS!

I`m an Anglo-Scot ,France on AI`s to take 6Ns,England have to prove the Ab match was not a fluke.Wales and Ireland on there day can beat anyone,BUT this year because there constantly being put down.Scotland at leastthat is what my Heart says
