Broner/Rees weigh in

Both fighters made the weight, Broner as always looks confident but I do think Rees will ask questions of Broner we haven't seen before but eventually he'll take over and win via late stoppage.

It just made me want a Sprite.

Hope Rees isn't humiliated or anything.

Rees is tiny. One Corona girl boob is bigger than his head.

I've just seen the bit were Broner does a most muscular. Nothing happened. He looked retarded.

How does he? He may be taller but Rees is coming down in weight and broner has just moved up in weight. It's like froch fighting marco huck. Froch to light heavy and huck down from cruiser.

Broner to win UD but will be made to work very very hard for it. Rees has a great mental strength and can cause all sorts of problems if he gets in side.

The only problem is broner is just class and will be too good.

Have you seen the people he fights against? he is massive height and body size. At the weigh in Rees looked like a little kid standing next to Broner.

I can't see Rees doing much. A one side fight with Rees getting knocked out.

But he is fighting a guy who fights above his weight limit?

Plus, your point is invalid, he fought Escobedo who was an inch taller and who had a 4 inch reach advantage. He was also a weight above broner as well.

look at the size difference between broner and the guys he fights.

And against Escobedo, Broner failed to make weight (meaning he came in heavier than Escobedo). I reckon he did it on purpose.

Don't surprise me. He thinks he is mayweather.

Do you think Sprite were paying him for advertising their product or do you think he just wanted to do something different (even if it meant him looking like a mug).

I don't even think there was anything in the can mate if I'm honest. He is just being a flash Winkle.

Trying to show that he isn't drained and should be fresh as he hasn't had to completely starve his body for a couple of days. He has been critised for not making weight in the past so I think its a jibe at the "doubters"

Don't really get the size difference, he outgrew SFW so he was going to be bigger than those and has since put on muscle. Rees is short but stocky whereas Demarco was taller than Broner but skinny in comparison so he has fought bigger opponents

Truth be told I'm getting a little worried for Rees.

Broner is one of these guys that's always been very big at the lower weights. Nonito Donnaire was another one. The Broner vs Perez fight looked 2 or 3 weight classes apart (flick to 3.46 onwards on the greatest hits video that victor posted - it's ridiculous). He'll probably settle at LWW in the end.

I actually can't stand Broner. Who on earth thinks he looks cool? I can't imagine the type of person that would really admire his behaviour (as opposed to people that like him because he's controversial - which I can at least understand). Loved it when Rees gave him a little clap and said "nice job, you made yourself look like a pr1ck again". If only he could beat him in the ring. Alas I see him bravely coming forward and getting picked off. My bet is that this resembles a slightly less effective version of what Ponce de Leon did with Broner.

My guess is Rees is a long way short of the quality of Ponce de Leon and this will be a massacre.

I always wish Broner and Mayweather would stick to boxing. We all like a little bit of trash talk but too much does get borish and those two just don't know when to stop.

I'd love to see Gavin Rees do the business. He has surprised me to get where he is so there is an outside possibility he may do it again. But, realistically, Broner is a step up and Gavin would only have a punchers chance, if he had a punch.

It's not possible to be as good as Broner thinks he is. Think he'll get Rees out relatively early though around 6 or 7 after a one sided beating.
