Boxing aesthetics
Simple question really, which boxer's style do you find the most aesthetically pleasing in the ring? For me it's always been Jose Napoles, his sense of rhythm in the ring is incredible to watch really, to the point of having a definite aesthetic attribute in addition to its obvious impressiveness as an athletic feat.

Ali at his best. At his worst it was among the least pleasing things you could see, but when the stars aligned and he started to dance it was the best looking thing that's ever been in a boxing ring, and that includes ring card girls!
Hearns also when Steward pressed the button on the back of his head marked "KILL".

Although I've not seen much of him, what I have seen of Ricardo Lopez is rather pleasing to the eye.

Nas in his prime was a pleasure to watch, so vicious when on the front foot, of the current boxers I like the way Broner and Mikey Garcia both systematically break there opponents down, both their recent fights were brutal.

Ive been watching Walcott lately and some of the casual grace and exploding into action is absolutely amazing. Same with Arguello. I like any style really and the boxers ability can make it aesthetically pleasing. Whitaker when he wasnt posing, Naz and Calzaghe when they were throwing straight combos. I have to say though, I prefer the inside fighter who is proficient in both attack and defence.

That said, I enjoyed watching Jofre videos last weekend, its like it was choreographed.
Re: Boxing aesthetics
I also think Wilfredo Benitez, when on song, had a very aesthetically pleasing style.

Mayweather has always been the one for me, hit and don't be hit at its most magnificent.

Mayweather's use of the shoulder roll certainly has an aesthetic side to it. I do think he can be a bit negative at times though.

naz, hands down by his sides and lighting quick, covered so much ground for a small guy.
calzaghe, highest workrate of any boxer i can think off, and always responses when his opponent trys putting on the pressure.

There's something about the way the Brown Bomber crept forward that i find ominously beautiful.
I hate to be predictable, but, everything Rigo does is done with flare, thought, composure, purpose and artistry.
Early Ali's natural ability and vision were genius without thought, instinct. A gift.

Justifiable in this case. Have now watched 3 of his fights & the guy is a class act, excellent balance & movement.

Speaking of Rigo, of today's fighters Donaire is good to watch.
As a Pactard I've always found Manny at his best to be down right scintillating.

Got to agree with the Mayweather stance. The sheer talent in defence is just unreal, love it.
