Don't know about anyone else but the WSB hasn't grabbed me at all so far. Find it quite weird/annoying that some of the national teams seem to have foreign fighters, a bit contradictory!

Think because it's a franchise based thing not really an international tournament. I've enjoyed what I've seen of the WSB, it certainly adds to the boxers knowlege as they are now getting hit without a head guard which will only aid them if/when they turn pro.

As Hampo alludes to the format gives an opportunity for boxers from nations without franchises to participate. Also gives teams opportunities to strengthen areas of weakness.
