Callum McManaman. Is that the worst tackle you have ever seen?

Wasn't smart at all

Terrible weekend of refereeing. All three games I watched in the PL had some form of referee controversy

I was also a 90th minute Kone winner (that shouldn't have been allowed) from turning £2 into £27. I hate Wigan and Dave Whelan.

Not by a long shot sadly. Too many bad tackles to even remember. Roy Keane on Alf Inge Haaland was right up there, as was the 'tackle' by Richard Wright that ended Luc Nilis's career, the tackle on Dave Buust, one by a Coventry player that broke Stig Inge Bjornebye's leg...what else have I missed?

I'm not old enough to remember them haha

I hope Wigan go this year. Mainly because if they don't I fear Martinez will stay another year when he really should move on and progress with his career (especially with the Everton job seemingly going to become available, would be perfect for him)

David Buust wasn't an injury from a bad tackle was it?

I remember it was being just the way he slid in and the angle of his leg etc.

Either way, are Norwich the dullest team in the Premier League to watch?

Beneath Stoke and City, perhaps.
West Ham aren't a barrel of laughs to watch either. Bring on Di Canio at the end of the year. The man is a nutcase.

Harsh on Wigan though

What is with Sky and Sunderland/Norwich games by the way? I swear I've seen all 4 of them in the last two years.

That's because all 4 have been on Sky for some bizarre reason!

At least yesterday's game was alright, bit of controversy. The other ones have been pants

See I don't mind watching Stoke so much. I wouldn't want to watch them all the time, but I find that it is still entertaining (just not very stylish football).

Wigan are not bad to watch either.

I have just found that the last couple of times I have seen Norwich, I completely switch off because nothing is really happening

That's probably how Norwich want it. Draw their way to safety. I thought they were going to win that one yesterday. 9/1 on a game that was 1-1 was mental.

There is no doubt we have been pretty poor this season, and it has been duller, but that's cos Hughton has improved the defence and is riding that too safety.

He hasn't been able to improve the attack yet, but I'm sure he will over the summer, and we'll be better to watch next season.

I'd also say yesterday there was stuff happening in the game lol

I really like Norwich and really hope they stay up, but I just can't stay focused on their games at the moment.

The contrast from last season is amazing, which makes it more surprising that Villa are so bad to watch.

Your probably not the most objective opinion Laugh

I remember the FA Cup semi final in 2009 v United. I was absorbed throughout the entire game, but when I rang the missus and she asked whether it was a good game, I had to ask my mate (who was neutral). Apparantly, it was one of the worst games of football to ever grace the stadium Laugh

So who are the best team to watch? I like watching Spurs, just because they play with pace and are direct, which is the style I like

Villa's saving grace is undoubtedly their front three, Benteke, Weimann, Agbonlahor. And Guzan in goal. If I were Villa boss, the rest can go in the summer regardless of what league they're in.

I'm surprised Villa are pretty bad to watch as well tbh, especially as they replicate us last season (good attack, poor defence, inexperienced)

Matter of fact is that whilst last season we were good, we also had more than our fair share of luck, and Ruddy had an immense season. The defence needed to be tightened, and Hughton has done that (although maybe gone too far). But this season the only aim is to survive. And ultimately by hook or by crook, we're probably gonna do that.

Next season I'm sure we'll see an improvement, when we sign some strikers who fit the system better

Morning

I think my game with Zebra will also be a difficult one to predict, hoping others agree Laugh
Laugh I dont, I ahve no DM so you will win.

Kolarov is very good going forward but he really isn't a good defender, Which is why I didn't sign Kolarov earlier in the season.
Similar to Coentrao, he's a LB who is more suited to LM.
Sorry, this is influencing votes. Saying he is shaky in the real life match is fine but telling people is a bad defender can be seen as influencing other peoples opinions.
I dont speak about how Iturraspe is rubbiish & plays for a struggling team, how Nagatomo is poop & injured, Koscielny cant defend & so on.

Afro, punish them! No SHEEP for two weeks (If you were welsh this would be the ultimate punishment).

Azzy, I played that Paddy Day tourny on FUT. Bought a bronze team with Connor Salmon & Long upfront, 10k + pace for first offline win, 5k next, then tried online & my brinze team just couldnt handle it so I sold them all off. Made around 12k profit by doing so.

Except, Koscielny can defend (he's clearly Arsenal's best centre back), Nagatomo is a better LB than Kolarov and Kolarov struggles defensively. Its not vote influencing, its footballing opinions.

Turn it into petty point scoring if you must, but it can't be a shock to you that Kolarov has only played well for Man City this season when playing at LM/LW.

Kolarov was poor against us. He made Coleman look like Ronaldo the ease that he went past him time and time again.

But to even it up, a great performance from Balotelli and another two goals Ok!

I quite like Koscielny too. I think he is a good CB, but spends a lot of time covering Mertesacker's lack of pace.

He also gets woefully exposed by their lack of a midfielder sitting in front of them

Right I still need a volunteer from amongst the Premier League managers to help me out. It would involve doing Championship lawyers and injuries each week, and also being the second person that votes and tactics are PM'd to.

And I'm not setting up the new page until I have one raspberry

Koscielny got into Garth Crooks's team of the week, so he has to be pretty special...

Teams I like watching: Albion, Spurs, Everton, Newcastle

Teams I don't mind watching: United, Liverpool, Chelsea

Teams I hate watching: the rest, especially Stoke and West Ham

Anyone see Peter Odemwingie's outburst at the weekend? Looks like my wish for him to spend the next 18months in the reserves might actually be granted Euro Division Homepage LII - Page 20 3559488474

Olly - they go up on Tuesday morning, but Treb's used to do them on Monday and leave for me to stick them up. Any help you can offer would be appreciated?

Azzy - Albion are great to watch, which surprises me as I would never have said that with Clarke. But I guess it is similar with Moyes being a no nonsense CB in his days as well

Injuries are supposed to be one from last weeks starting XI and one from squad, although it sounds like they may not have been from GSC Laugh

Lawyers are TM value + 20% rounded UP to next £500k

But as GSC says, Marky does this weeks injuries as its a cup week
